Image Capture
Capture Your Tools
Start by capturing the tools that will be organized in your shadow board. Use an OSAAP light panel, Blue Mobile, CAD files, 1:1 tracings, or other supported media to provide the scale and tool profiles needed to begin your project.

CAD Design
Create Your Shadow Board Layout
Tool profiles are arranged into a custom layout using Blue Shadow, OSAAP's purpose-built shadow board CAD software. Create the design yourself, collaborate with our team, or let our designers prepare it for you.

Web Portal
Keep the Entire Project Connected
Project files, tool images, help photos, .tool files, .bord files, approval drawings, and revisions stay organized in the Web Portal. Your team and OSAAP can work from the same project information throughout the process.

Approval
Review, Revise, and Approve
When your design is ready, review the completed layout and approval drawing. Confirm the layout, labeling, and tool placement or submit notes for changes. Once everything is right, approve the design to move the project forward.

Manufacturing
Move Directly Into Production
Once approved, your design moves into OSAAP's connected manufacturing workflow for nesting, production preparation, milling, laser processing, inspection, and final fabrication.

Accessories
Complete the System
Finish your shadow board with the accessories and features required for your application, including labels, handles, lids, mounting options, and other finishing components.
