Databases for storing .tool files to reuse in different designs

.tool files

We have the ability to save every tool that we scan. We use these saved files to create databases of pre-captured tools. We took the majority of the Ko-ken Line, captured the .tool files and put them into the sample database seen above. From within this database, you can search based on part numbers and then drag and drop those .tool files into blue shadow

Within Blue Shadow 5 you can also simply type in the part number in our tool commander, it will then paste the tool. You can also do this with a list of part numbers.

Drag & Drop Patent

We own the patent for “drag and drop” which basically enables us to hide a different file type behind another. So, if we had an image of a tool, we could hide the .tool file underneath it, which is what we do in our tool databases.

Within Blue Shadow 5 you can also simply type in the part number in our tool commander, it will then paste the tool. You can also do this with a list of part numbers.
